About the Friends of the Garland County Library
The Friends of the Garland County Library was incorporated in 1976 as an Arkansas non-profit. The group's purpose is to:
- Create an awareness of the opportunities offered by the library
- Increase library facilities and services
- Focus attention upon library needs
To carry out the goal of increasing library services, fundraising activities have been a part of the Friends' objectives.
The Friends of the Library volunteers can be reached by phone at the library, 501-623-4161 on Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Donations are accepted at the circulation desk. For larger donations, if a Friend is not available to take your call, the library staff will take a message. A Friend will contact you as soon as possible.
