Every year, libraries across the country celebrate summer reading with special programs designed to keep kids and teens engaged and learning year-round. Well, why do the kids get to have all the fun?! The Garland County Library's Summer Reading Program has expanded to include amazing prizes for adults, too!
STEP 1: Pick up a paper reading tracker from the Library beginning 5/30/26. Don’t lose this tracker - you need it to claim all your awesome prizes!
STEP 2: Set a daily reading goal. This can be anything - 10 minutes to 10 pages a day.
STEP 3: Each day you reach your goal, move forward one space on the tracker.
STEP 4: For every ten days you read, scratch off your sticker and bring your tracker to the library for a small prize and a raffle ticket.
STEP 5: Enter tickets in raffle boxes for a chance to win special prizes, to be drawn on 8/3/26.
STEP 6: Turn in completed trackers for an extra raffle ticket by 7/31/26.
Every 10 days, readers can pick up a small prize and a raffle ticket to enter for a chance to win a BIG prize.
Kids and Teens will earn:
Day 10 - Candy
Day 20 - Dino Egg Dig OR Squishy
Day 30 - Notebook & Shuttle Pen
Day 40 - Book from the Prize Cart
Day 50 - Summer Shirt & Dino Puzzle
Adults will earn a prize based on a PLINKO token drop!
