Tired of the same old reading routine? Dig into something fresh at the Garden County Library! Reserve your own raised garden bed or simply unwind on the sunny lawn with a good book. It's more than a garden — it's a place to grow, relax, and connect with nature and neighbors.
Garden beds are checked out for six-month seasons (March–August or September–February), with a limit of one per person. Fill it with veggies, herbs, or flowers—just keep it natural (no harsh chemicals, tobacco, or power tools, please!). Family and friends can help tend your plot, but you’re the one responsible for keeping it neat and active. Get started within two weeks of approval and clean out within two weeks when your season ends.
