Back by popular demand! The Garland County Library will host its second quarterly crossword puzzle competition on Wednesday, May 13, at 6 p.m., inviting word enthusiasts of all skill levels to test their puzzle-solving abilities in a fun and friendly setting!
Cruciverbalists can compete individually or in pairs for the chance to win prizes. The competition will feature three timed rounds of increasing difficulty, beginning with an easy puzzle and progressing through medium and hard challenges. Points will be awarded based on accuracy and speed, keeping the competition lively and engaging throughout the evening.
Registration is required for each participant, and attendees can enjoy refreshments, including hot cocoa, while they play.
Library patrons can also sharpen their skills ahead of the event by taking advantage of a free resource available with a library card. Through the New York Times Games catalog, cardholders can access a wide variety of crossword puzzles and other word games for FREE.
