Furry, Feathered, or Scaly: Show Off Your Pet at the Library

Garland County Library is inviting pet owners to enter the Pet Photo Contest, open to dogs, cats, and every other kind of furry, feathered, or scaly companion.

How to Enter
Photos will be accepted from Thursday, October 1, through Saturday, October 31. Send your entry by email to [email protected] and include both your pet's name and your name.

Voting and Prizes
Voting will take place in person at the library on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. Pets will compete in three categories: Dog, Cat, and Other. The top three winners in each category will receive Petco gift cards.

Contest Rules

• One entry per person, and one pet per photo
• All ages are welcome
• Photos must show a real, domesticated pet that belongs to you. Drawings, stock photos, and AI-generated images will not be accepted
• By entering, you give the library permission to print your photo for voting and to share it on social media
