The Garland County Library is inviting the community to bring their appetites and support a worthy cause at a Relay For Life Bake Sale Fundraiser on Tuesday, June 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Library staff have joined together to support the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life and are raising funds to help fight cancer, support patients and caregivers, and advance lifesaving research. Patrons are encouraged to stop by the library to purchase baked goods and contribute to the cause.
In addition to the bake sale, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase luminaries—personalized decorative bags illuminated by a light to honor, remember, or celebrate loved ones whose lives have been touched by cancer. Luminaries are a longstanding Relay For Life tradition and serve as a powerful symbol of hope, remembrance, and support.
All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society.
Those who are unable to attend but would still like to contribute may also make a donation online through the library's Relay For Life fundraising page.
